Indian Runner Duck egg colors

So I just got some indian runner duck eggs and was very surprised at the colors! The last ones i got were all white. Do different color duck lay different color eggs or what?

I love getting green ones

Some of mine that are the same colour will lay different coloured eggs- but it is a genetic thing- and although all my females are " harlequin" they do come from a few different bloodlines. There are Runner colours that will only ever lay a white egg and some colours that may lay either.
