I got an indian runner duckling!!!! I'm so excited! I think they're so funny looking!! I'll post pics tomorrow!

How is he/she getting along with your rescue mallard? Last year, I spent a bit of time with a similar situation, a rescue mallard and a runner friend.

One day little mallard decided it was time to go be a wild duck (she had been found abandoned by mom on a golf course). I still have my runner.

Do you have other ducks in case the same thing happens to you?

They're getting along great!! At first they were pretty scared of each other but now they're best friends!! I have a cayuga drake and hes going to be 10 weeks on tuesday Hes a sweetie!!! I think I'll clip the mallards wings when shes old enough. I don't think she'd survive on her own! lol

too cute! We have 2 adult fawn and white Runners. Penelope is broody. And 7 runner eggs are on lockdown in the bator. Penelope is on 7 eggs herself! You will love your runner. My avatar pic is the broody Penelope. She is a doll.....
