I have a variety of Indian Runners, all less than 2 years old (many less than 1) and of laying age (though none are currently laying, I expect them to start back up again any day). Approximately 15 ducks available total, mostly hens. They can be sold in the following groupings:

* Two or more groupings, one of which must include the Toulouse. You can take a drake and a selection of females, a few females (but not so many that you upset the ratio of the remaining flock), or the pair of Holderread drakes IF you plan to keep them together (they are tightly bonded) as flock sires for a group of females (they are good-natured and have never fought over females even in a group of three drakes & three females they were raised with, but this could of course change at any time, so it's best to have enough females to go around). The goose may go with any of those groupings except the two drakes, who were not part of his original flock and not tightly bonded to him. I reserve the right to determine whether a particular grouping is appropriate based on flock dynamics.

OR

* ALL together WITH their guardian Toulouse goose. Hercules the goose was raised with most of this flock and is extremely attached to them. He has never bonded with any other birds, and he MUST go with at least part of this flock. He is an outstanding guardian, sounding a warning call when danger approaches (but they must also be protected with appropriate physical protections, of course!). He also is very smart and takes good care of his flock--one time a girl got caught in fishing line & he had the presence of mind to bring her into the back yard where I was, to untangle her. He then settled her in the pen & went back to the lake to gather up the rest of the flock and bring them up to keep her company. You will not be sorry to have him with your flock. This group will be 11 hens and 3 drakes (two of which are very nice, upright Holderread blues), in a variety of colors. Discount for taking them all together, IF you plan to keep them all together.

Photo above shows most of the ducks and the Toulouse. The magpie ducks (white with black or blue backs) are NOT for sale. The blue with white necks are what I call "tuxedoes." The Holderread drakes are obvious to a trained eye--very upright dark blue boys standing tall. Ducks are available in these colors:

* Fawn/white (one hen)
* Blue (most of the hens and the two Holderread drakes)
* Black (some of the hens)
* Tuxedo blue (the F1 offspring of fawn/white x blue; one drake and five hens--would make a great group all together, and should throw gorgeous multi-colored babies)
* Silver (one hen)
* Lavender (or something that looks like lavender, anyway--one hen)

All ducks must go to an outstanding home and the transaction will be discussed by email. Please be prepared to tell me a little about your set-up and the care you provide your birds.

Thanks!
