Indian Runner Ducks

hi, I have three Indian runner ducks that are just starting to lay do you need a nest or a private area for them to hatch.

I have two Indian Runner females, and both of them have sat on their eggs. Most people say that they do not sit on eggs. The female we have at the moment, was very protective of her eggs and I had to force her to get up. I had to the crate and I got rid of the eggs. She has not laid any sense, and comes oout willingly. If you don't want to do that, create a large run for ducks made of chicken wire. It keeps them in one area for the day, yet they still have space to forage and "play." ANyway, I hoped this helped and good luck!
