Indian runners please help on gender?

5.5 months old both make noise and I don’t see curls yet on the tail but the black one is bigger and tried to mount a rooster. The black one does quack I think but mostly it’s a weird hiccupy quack. But not the Donald Duck sounding whistle noise I know males make.
Would the tail have an obvious curl by 5.5 months?

The black one is a male. If he makes a hiccup quack he is probably male, plus I think I see where his drake feature is possibly coming in. Can you post a video of him quacking? That will seal the deal.
Now he won’t make any noise. Of course. My husband grabbed him yesterday and he did eventually quack.
