Indian Runners

Some of them ADORE the water while others just enjoy the occasional bath. It really depends on the duck!

I have a very tall drake that walks around the pool as if he is a lifeguard. It's very funny. I definitely have one duck that will sit out while the rest swim in the pool. Then there are times when they all sleep in the pool. I change the water every day and if I forget or can't then it's done the next day. Ducks LOVE clean water so I don't know why they poop in it..... lol.​

Yeah I know, I wish I had a small group of white Runners like that...maybe 1 day...in my dreams or something.
Im now re thinking my wish list from Holderreads,,,sending it off today...do I order the white and Emery or just the white, or more white and a few Emery just to see what they turn out like...

I have over 40 white runners and ten black runners. White runners almost always are the best quality (long necks and wine bottle shaped bodies. The other colors always have shorter necks with the exception of the blacks.)
I have so many birds the DW would never know how many I have. She shows Corgi's and we have seven of those here, so I don't expect any problems.

No...sorry! I sell grown birds at the farm or at shows. It is too hard to ship anything live from where I live. If I were to ever buy some I would contact Dave Holderread in OR. That is the place to buy waterfowl and he does ship day old's except for bantam ducks.
