Indiana BYC t-shirt thread

These are great designs. I have a few favorites already. I really like the colored shirts too that are in the pictures. The redish ones and the blue look great. The green reminds me a bit of Christmas.
I was wondering if it is possible to get the image on the back. Some how a full size image on the front for me makes my belly look its full size. And post baby belly is not a nice flat belly.

SallyinIndiana~ Just get some Spanx! LOL Usually if a large design is on the back of a Tshirt, then a smaller pocket sized logo or artwork is on the front. A two-sided shirt adds cost. I'm not disputing the idea, just explaining.

Tshirt vendors typically charge per color, but some don't although their general pricing can be higher. Tshirt vendors also charge more for additional placements like the back and/or sleeve.

Something to note: If the design is printed on a medium to dark colored shirt, white is used as an underlay to prevent the ink from soaking into the shirt, and white is considered a color charge even when it's just an underlay.

very good points. I want to keeps costs down. No need for a front and back picture. I had not thought of putting anything on the sleeves, but I have seen some shirts have text logos there.

This is very good information as it might change how someone votes. Thank you for posting it.

I also agree w/ @SallyinIndiana as far as appearance.

I'm a designer and I always prefer that if there is a large image it goes on the back. And, yes, we usually put a very small image over the heart or on the sleeve with the logo that is tastefully small.

So...I like the idea of it being on the back. That could still happen if the front was left blank. There are plenty of tshirts out there with imprints on back only.

Jut curious for people like me that can't go to chicken fest, and would like a shirt (depending on what style and cost). Are people in charge of the shirts planning to offer to ship to members for additional cost?

Also wanted to add my preference to design. I like having logos on back, but I don't like shirts thy just have a little symbol on the front. I won't buy a short that doesn't have a design or big logo on the front. Just my preference

CCCHHICKENS~ Yes, anyone can order an Official Indiana BYC Tshirt.

There are also other chicken-related designs that @lilmizscareall or I will post after voting on the official shirt. The other designs can be ordered for Tshirts or other styles and colors if anyone is interested. The pricing will be higher since it won't be a group order.

As I understand it, lilmizscareall and I will discuss the pros and cons of various vendors, and I will handle it from there as far as taking orders, paying for the group, and mailing ones that need mailed. For mailing, I will only charge what the actual mailing cost is.

I am always drawn to images on the back of shirt, so that will be a distinct possibility, depending on how the final votes come in!
