INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I got my people sized door on. I'll send pics after it's pained. Did anyone know home depot does "kids construction crafts" on the first Saturday of the month from 8-12? I spent about 3 hours there instead of 1/2 hour. Atleast it was free, and gave the kids something hands on to do. They even got cute orange work aprons.

where can i get some guineas?
I would recommend either finding some from a breeder or going to a swap rather than getting keets from a hatchery if you're new to brooding. There will be some good swaps and shows coming up before long. Many are listed at Poultry Show Central http://www.poultryshowcentral.com/.
A couple that aren't on there yet are the Knox, Indiana, swaps the 2nd Sunday in May, June, September, and October, and the Milton Kentucky (right across the river from Madison) swaps Mother's Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. Those two are always hard to find information about.
The Craigslist suggestion is good also.
