INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

After reading about 100 reviews on the incubator my parents got us for Christmas I am worried.. I have never incubated before this will be my first time.. I have a model 2200 farm innovators circulated air incubator, I also have the automatic egg turner and the Quail rails. All the knowledge I have is from what I read in reviews, and about 100 youtube videos. My plan so far is to unbox the incubator Monday morning and turn it on. I will try to have the temp stable at 99.5 and the humidity between 50 and 60.. I also plan to Buy a Digital thermometer/hydrometer to put in the incubator along with the ones that came with the incubator,( due to the amount of people on the reviews who says the supplied ones don't work)... If I get the eggs from brad and put them in when I get home. 14 days later I try and increase the humidity to 75 and set them out of the turner on the incubator Screen and remove the turner. Day 16 hatch?? Am I way off or do I have a good plan.
I have 2 model 2100 farm innovators still air incubators. I love mine. Great for a cheap incubator! I turn mine by hand. The hydrometer is close to accurate, but the temp gauge is no where close. You can get a good one at walmart for $1. I have never hatched qauil eggs before though.

Ok all you chicken medical experts, lol, when it rains (or maybe I should say snows?) it pours!!!! Sending close up pics of Redman (my RIR roo). This morning his left eye was covered with a greenish white gunk, that btw was frozen, and was shaking his head. He tried t catch a couple of th girls t do his job and they easily got away because his "aim" was off. I have called every vet office within a two hr drive and none will see chickens. I went t TSC and picked up some gel (called vetercyn) for eye irritation ( ie, pink eye) and bought some eye flush for sensitive eyes (made by Bausch n Lohm) it has sterile saline as main ingredient. Brought him inside and gave him a nice warm bath too clean him up good, blow dried him ( which he LOVED), rinsed his eye w saline and put in gel stuff.
Is there anything else I should do????
Going t keep him inside for a few hours t be sure he's dried very well before returning him to his quarantine pen outside. Oh and I have included a couple pics of his head so you can see if you see any issues yourself. Also is the darkened area of his comb n wattles frostbite? I gooped him up with bag balm for that too.

I'm not much of a help, but hopefully he will heal quickly. I have heard great things about the vetercyn products, though!

This was before treating:
I think you handled it quite well. I wouldn't do anything else.

I had a hen that her eye got a little goopy and I put drops (saline drops) 2 or 3 times. And she was back to normal. Here is what her eye looked like.

Here eye was kind of crusty. I had to hold a warm rag on it for a minute to pull it apart. Then I put the drops in it.
