but really who would do this its basicly haveing someone kidnap you child. its just not right

You are so right. Can't count how many times I carry around the one weak chick tucked under my shirt just to keep it warm. We are responsible to care for them properly and protect them, look what they give us in return! Its just horrible. I know I would be heartbroken too.

Just locked down 6 goose and 5 chicken eggs. small hatch before the bigger ones start! This is the first for the goose eggs. really nervous! Peering in there every time i walk by. I have low fertility on the geese, but these eggs showed lively swimming babies in there

When i see it, i just share the link by copying the address bar. then i post to FB sometimes it will actually bring up all the info.

While the theft of the flock of chickens is terrible, I must disagree that it is like losing a child.

I once lost an entire flock to an attack by 3 dogs. I remember crying myself sick that day. With the loss of the chickens I also lost a few years of hard work and a significant investment of money. But, here a few years later, I can think of that without wrenching heartbreak.

As a parent who has buried two sons, I can tell you... losing a beloved pet chicken is not the same as losing a child.

It is really bad when you have to lock, chain, cement, weld, put up fences, put up barbwire, landmines, alarm systems and guard dogs and cats to keep you, your property and your loveones safe at night

So we have 16 Ringneck doves now

That's not counting the 2 Diamond doves, 5 parakeets, 12 chickens and 2 ducks...... Oh and 7 cats...... Ok I am done ranting
