We were posting at the same time. I think you have enough space. Our neighbors have six chickens in a small tractor with a tiny run (way to small!). But they have never known the freedom of anything beyond that so they are used to it. Mine hate to be locked in their run unless it is night. (FYI - I first typed licked but I caught it and now have confessed. Licking seems to continue). My girls will nervously pace at the door to the run and cry to get out. So that may be adding to no eggs for now. I think they will adjust but it will take a little time. I tend to feel guilty when I think they are stressed and I blame myself ( you know - mom guilt!) so I am hereby forbidding you to feel bad about this! You have enough to stress over now!

Oh,i have 5 chickens and their coop is 12x12 and the run is 12x12 right now. We do have a back part of the run but, the snow took the roof out. The back part is 12x12 too. How many chickens can i really have?
