INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I suppose you can argue that, that's why they are loud but they get hit all the time still... People who hire bikers are doing it on purpouse because they hate bikers not because they can't hear or see them atleast that's what I believe number one mode of transportation in India is motorcycles or mopeds and you don't see any of them loud or anything and people don't get hit all the time(I'm assuming) I think what your pointing out is either 1.) how lazy Americans are that they can't look both ways.
2.) how bad they are as drivers
Or
3.) how obnoxious they are to think they don't have to look both ways or something like that
I actually really do think the average american is a very poor driver and that there should be a required re-evaluation of driving skills like take a new drivers test ever three to five years till your like 50 the ever 2 till your 65 then every year... Driving is a privilege not a right if you can't see more then 20 feet don't drive... If you can't remember you turned on the turning signal 2 miles ago and hour too deff to hear the ticking of your turning signal then you should lose your drivers liscence

And in another note I got a ticket for my car being to loud... If your going to ticket a car for it why not a bike.. It's hipocritical and prejudice.. It was a small low to the ground car... I should be able to claim the same thing "it's loud so people can hear it because they can't see it coming"
Sorry venting

I have a chick that is one month old tomorrow and I have nine other chicks that are closer to two months old. The chick that is one month old is already starting to get waddles, is it safe to say that might be a rooster or should I not go off that? He's the only one that I don't know the breed. he was supposed to be a black copper Marans but he is clearly not. He has to be just a mix because he has back and white feathers all over.

I did have a hen with extremely large wattles once. I didn't count on her being a "her" until I got the first egg...that's how extremely different she looked. Even had larger comb than all the others.

I'm really really hoping it is a hen because if I'm not going to get my chocolate eggs, I would be just as happy to have green eggs. I was given eggs to hatch and that is the only one that hatched out of that batch. Originally I was told the people only had black copper Marans however want to hatched and it had white feathers I questioned it and they also have americanus. Hoping it's a hen

Well, it finally happened. Something got into my birds before I got home after dark. I just shut the pens when I got home and didn't look to see who was in them.

This morning I woke up to 4 dead turkeys and a dead rooster in the yard, and feathers everywhere. I know at least two other turkeys are missing, and one is one of my big white toms, so whatever it was wasn't little. I'm thinking coyotes. Looks like everyone needs to go in lockdown for a week or so while I figure out what is going on. They are NOT going to be happy.

Yikes, I'm sorry! That is a lot of damage/loss in one night! Maybe you can borrow a trail cam for a few days, I would say odds are excellent it/they will be back at the buffet very soon!
