I know the gal I got them from had clean leg marans at the time. I have looked at the BA photos and I thought she looked a lot like those too at the various stages.

I think I need to email her and see if she may have had any BAs at the time.

X2 on the ba's sure look a lot like mine did! But I know maran look similar also.

just dont know how my big ones will react though when i introduce them should i putt them in the coop to see each or let them free range to see each other and should i let my babys meet them too?

Just seen on news about bird flu breakout in chickens in China. Causing 6 human deaths already. No concern for us tho yet.

My Friday evening consisted of putting Barbie accessories on the chicks out of boredom & my DH threatening to divorce me on account of chicken overload. I fed him a scrambled egg sammy & he dropped it lol I have another coop to build, but fearing the cost. :/ Rain coming & I'm wondering if I should hold off on putting my PR's in coop for first time?

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm new to both raising birds and this site. I currently have 4 unknown breeds of ducks. (I believe they are mixed breeds) 7 buff orpingtons, 2 peafowl, 3 royal palm turkeys, 5 old English, 1 antwerp quail hen ,11 guineas (so far) and a variety of nonfeathered critters. Lol
