INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

The right one looks like a Millie fleur d'uccle. Not sure on the left. Still just want the 3 Cochins, 3 lav orps, and 4 EEs? Or do I need to throw in an extra lav orp? I do have an older one (3-4 weeks old I believe) that can be one of the 3 or in addition to the 3. Just let me know!

Holy moley, this will be the worst case of chicken math I have had to deal with yet... Is the 4 week one just a single guy? If he is all by himself I could probably make room for him too :D

Had another turkey egg today... sitting on the kitchen side.. So excited.. Might make 4 by Wednesday after all. Heard they were a little more difficult to hatch than chicken eggs. Hope they go well.

I finally rehomed my Sebrights and OEGBs to make room for my new additions Wednesday. Told DH I was getting more, but never told him how many... He is so going to kick my butt :D

Well as been as we are doing the, what breed here... anyone want to make a guess at these two..

These are my mystery chicks that I have no idea about. The black one has me stumped. They are both bantams.
Not sure about the front left chick (might be a Black Old English Game Bantam), the black and white is a Barred Cochin (not sure about the sex just yet) and the one on the right is a MF D'Uccle (cockerel). I bought every bantam chick our TSC got in Wed morning and have my fingers crossed that there are a couple of barred cochins in there.

I think the barred cochin is male too. Te comb made an appearance rather early. Going to google some mille d'uccles for comparisons.
The black one has a feel of game bantam about him. The comb is real tight to the head so I am not sure about the sex of him.

The brown guy had his comb pop up over night. Judging by the colouring and size I guessed male. Think I hit payload with all the roos I managed to snag. The two OEGBs I rehomed had monstrous combs for their age. I think out of the 11 chicks I got more than half have been boys. I think the Porcelain D'uccle is my only chick I feel confident is a girl.

The white one in the middle

Quote: Thanks, they are laying, we got them in September.
Quote: Thanks,
I checked craigs list but there were so few postings I was not sure.
Monday is the day!! Will be having the baby!! Have to be at the hospital at 6am.
Congratulations I don't know if the docs told you this, but an induction can take over 24 hours. Take lots of snacks for you or at least lots of change for vending snacks. Movies are nice too.

Had to stop at TSC for bedding and noticed they had porcelain d'uccles and silkies in their bantam assortment! Only thing that stopped me was min of 6 chicks. I don't want more bantams, but how an I pass upon more d'uccles and silkies! May have to look again tomorrow.

Ill have to look again and see if his comb is large and becoming red yet. It very well could be a pullet as well. Ill go take some and post them. It s currently in the brooder with the EEs.

2 of my kids were from a induction. Jaiden-5 years old took 16 hrs and then Xaivier-4 years old took 6 hrs. So hopefully Cerenity Annastacia will be just as fast.
