Hi, everyone! I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the comments on my interview!I'm actually still trying to get up the nerve to post over there, too, but I'm feeling rather sheepish about it...
I also wanted to ask those of you who have ordered through Sand Hill if y'all have any advice for putting an order in. I've heard it can be tricky to get an order through, so I'm wondering how soon it should be done for my best chances of getting chicks from them in 2017?
I was wondering, too, if anyone wanted to go in with me on an order? They only sell chicks in lots of 25. I was looking more at getting 15 or 16 chicks, but was just going to fill out the order and Craigslist the extras or something. However, I'd be more than happy to split with someone if they have anything specific they want from Sand Hill! I'm in northeast Indiana, if that makes any difference for driving distance. Just let me know.![]()
Hi! Fellow hoosier here! Does anyone in the northern half of Indiana have any young pullets for sale (prefer 4-6 months old) that are Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, Silver Laced Wyandottes, or Cockoo Maran? I am having a heck of a time finding pullets within an hour's drive me. The only source I have is Craigslist and half the time the sellers do not even respond.
