INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

For now on I think I'm going to ask the future buyers to send a picture of the front of kmart so I know they are there and not wasting my time. I live only 5 minutes away from Kmart so them waiting shouldn't be too bad. I can't believe people are so childish to do such things! Anyways tomorrow I'm trading 10 laying female quails for 4 Muscovy ducks! 1 male and 3 females! Here is a picture of the male and 1 female. Male is Lilac/Blue Fawn and female is black pied the other two females are pure whites.

and called 3 times, no answer. Who does this?
I have learned that people who only text are not serious people. As soon as I text back saying to call me because I want to speak to them live, the "text only" ones disappear and the serious people willingly call. That's my screening process. The ones that make it through that all turn out to be kind, friendly people. They all say they don't blame me for wanting to speak live with CL strangers first, and they would do the same thing.

I bet your No Show would never have called you live. They sound like that type. You would have been able to rule them out pretty easily.

Probably! I have defiantly learned a lesson! I did have one lady wanting to buy my chickens when I was selling them, she was affraid to speak to me over the phone or meet with me because she thought I might be a man and her husband doesn't like her to speak to other men or meet them. So she only texted me, didn't ask if I was a man, just asked how much and said she has to ask her husband for permission. I gave her a call and she instantly ignored it and sent me to voicemail. I left her a voicemail telling her all about the chickens I had their prices and where we could meet up. 5 minutes later she called back saying "Oh thank goodness, I thought you might be a man. My husband wouldn't allow me to buy from a man with out him....." She explain in details. Then we met up 1 hour later and she bought all my chickens and even gave me a really tight hug... -Not a hugging type with strangers- She cried for joy too. She was very excited to have chickens said they reminded her of her parents. -They lady was in her 40's- Very nice lady very sweet heart'ed. She sends video's and pictures of them almost daily... Wish immature scammers and jokers would go away.

So upset right now..
I have an ad up on craigslist for selling day old ducklings, and this person texted my cell asking to buy 1 blue pied female duckling, 1 5lb bag of starter feed and a heat bulb. Which was okay and we agreed on a meet up location and they said they lived only 20 minutes away and that they were leaving that moment and will be in a silver Jetta. I waited 30 minutes in the parking lot for them. They texted saying "sorry just now leaving". I waited for another hour. I texted them multiple times and called 3 times, no answer. Who does this?

That's Craigslist, dude. Some people can just be ridiculous. My husband used to sell a bunch of stuff on CL and would often run into that problem. It's so weird! Why call or reach out about something if you have no intention of actually following through with the purchase?

I was just looking through my quails to pick out which ones I like the most and I found this little one!! It's so pretty. Looks like a brown mixed with Italian. It have both colors on it! You can see it by it's self and with a Brown and a Italian! Isn't it beautiful!!

This are just so gorgeous

Our dogs share some of those same chicken-loving genes. They actually don't give any thought about the birds, but the droppings are another story. I have a fence to partition the yard just to keep them away from the poop. Now that I'm allowing them to run into the back part of the yard 1-2xs per day, they're very happy (& stinky) dogs.
I can absolutely imagine! I wish Frank was a craproller. (Did I just say that) I would take giving extra baths over missing feathers! Gypsy has the happiest face once she is finished striping herself

Jake doesn't seem as partially dog imprinted as Thanksgiving, so he's not trying to fight or mate with them.

*Hahahahahahahahahahaha good lord! Animals are definitely entertainment!

Ursa doesn't seem to be purposefully killing them (except the pheasant, which she ate), just playing with them til their batteries run out. She loves pulling feathers out, mouthing everything, and pinning other critters. She's especially fascinated by the new silkies, so it's a doubly good thing those birds can't fly. She seems more concerned about chicks, so I'm wondering if she just tried to pick one up and accidentally killed it.

*I really think Frankie wants to play with them but his playing would include shaking and pulling feathers and chewing. I don't think he'll ever get broken of it.
