Baby goats wean in 3 weeks and looks like all have homes. May have one doeling not spoken for, depends on moving plans for the family. Pixie and Dixie my Jersey cows are getting huge, excited and nervous for our first calves birthed here. I have 2 vets arranged in case of emergency calls for calving issues. Pixie, 21 months old has noticeable udders now and really gaining weight. Dixie is larger and 2 weeks older but I see Pixie will be calving 1st..
My next EE/OE chicks are a week away, and will be the last of my Am's eggs. Will set eggs in May to see what Beefy sires for us.

Went outside to find Tank waiting for me this morning. He followed me into the barn, met the rabbits while I was feeding and watering, and gave the shepherd another showing of who is boss.
The horses aren't 100% sure of him yet. They're staying to the back pasture for now.
For my little dog, she's brave. Kind of. But tank started stomping his feet and she ran for cover behind mom. Oh my hero dog. Lol.
He also went next door to see the sherperd over there. Hubby carried him home. All the while tank gobbled trash talk while roscoe (their shepherd) also talked trash through his cage.
Tank was greeted by my sister-in-law, her husband and my hubby when we got back. My nephews threw a tantrum because they wanted to stay and "help take care of tank." It was super cute seeing them take such a liking to him.

Another group of my chickens, my 3 project birds went home with DD tonight. They were a Rose comb RIR/Buckeye type trio. At the point I want to be with breed/type now aside from 3 layer hens. May do this project again they sure laid eggs well. At 6 years now some of my coops are due to be replaced. If I can't safely confine a chicken I will not keep them. I do do a daytime free range but one of the roofs are falling in now.
DD also brought Gee, my oldest Chinese Gander home to help keep eggs fertile. Gee was her pet, left here when she married and moved to Ohio 3 years ago. If egg fertility doesn't change its time to add new lines, goslings. Any adult goose I have goes to my veterinarian if they need re homed! They "work" for him as Arial predator deterrent. In return they live out their lives there. Ponds for the cattle, Non GMO diet, and a huge electronet pasture that's rotated. They oversee his baby chicken, duck and turkey as they grow for market. We do NOT eat our geese, neither does he..
I have had 1 gander in 50+ years that I let go for a table bird, flat horribly mean and could not improve his demeanor.
