Thanks for that link cluckacres. My daughter watched the hatchery 4 times straight. I am betting she will want it a couple times a day. She also thought that ring tone was the best thing ever! Thanks for the ideas for the trays too.

So I stopped by the dump,(ours has a re-use pile).and grabbed 8 black plastic trays. The ones they stack bread on. I will have to measure them and send a pic. I need to build 2 nest boxes, but wondering what else I can do with them. Suggestions?

If you start your own seeds for a garden they would make a nice tray for the new seedlings while they are in those flimsy seed containers.

Sally, what a great idea!!! That's what i can use them for, atleast for the spring. I built exterior nesting boxes today. Hooray for above freezing temps! I'll send pics when I put the door on the outside. Had to stop b/c it was getting dark and Mr. Peeps was getting cranky. I just tacked a piece of plywood on for tonight.
