INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

To be honest, I not sure. However from owning a parrot, I am aware that the respiratory system of birds is much more sensitive to chemicals than other animals. If it were me, I would avoid using them and stick with traps and tapes. Of course Im just speculating and don't now for sure
I knew that birds in genral have sensitive respitory systems as none of my chickens have ever got sick ecept for a few that got upper respitory colds.I just figured someone had probably tried it before and might know.

Vicki, that stinks about the dog...

I love the blue splash color. After I get lavender orpingtons, blue & blue splash are next on my list! And I absolutely love the birthday cake & cucumber letters -- perfect! Too bad the chickens can't read -- I'm sure they would think it's really cool too!

Jchny posted: M2H how are the new babies? can't wait to see more pics, bet they are so sweet.

They're doing well. We took new photos tonight that I'll post tomorrow. I'm exhausted from working on re-doing landscaping rocks all day in the heat and humidity.

Do you have new baby ducky photos?

Pipd-- Love the creative cake and your pretty birds!

On the subject of dogs...does anyone have both chickens and dogs, and if so any tips on how to make sure they coexist peacefully?
i have tons of birds and 3 dogs. 2 dogs kill escapees for fun. The pup has learned early on to be with birds. She herds but never bites and actually chases bugs with them:) the other too have strong prey drives and dont seem to change. I think it really depends on the demeanor of the dog.
