There are a TON of wild hogs around! I guess they won't touch the bear since it isn't native to this area anymore. Not sure how it got here. The lady had a house fire and they pushed all of the old foundation into the woods behind her house. The bear dug a cave in it and is living there. Makes you wonder what it's eat to stay alive!!!

I keep hearing about the hogs but have never seen them in Williams. I no there are some in. The Leesville area. I can't believe I've not heard about the bear. And bc its not native is why they should do something about it I think. But then again if its not causing problems I guess there's no reason to? They will eat a number or things and its hard telling what its surviving on. I heard of a bear in Silverville but that was many years ago and only 1 person seen it lol but I've also heard Bigfoot lives in Silverville so? Lol

Have Your heard of cave river valley? Husband and I used to camp at a lake near there and you could hear wild hogs EVERYWHERE!! The most I run into in my little town is wild rabbits and black snakes now and then.

I don't live to far from Williams either. I had not heard about the bear. I can't believe DNR didn't at least attempt to trap and relocate it. Where did it even come from? And have you heard there are suppose to be wild hogs in Williams also? I have a theory on that one but will keep it to myself. Lol and if there are it gives the panthers, cougars, and I guess bears another food option?

A steady diet of little kids is not good for carnivores. The need variety.

Have Your heard of cave river valley? Husband and I used to camp at a lake near there and you could hear wild hogs EVERYWHERE!! The most I run into in my little town is wild rabbits and black snakes now and then.

no I hadn't heard how bigfoot got here lol but I did hear he likes to peek in bathroom windows so watch out for that lol I've heard of cave river valley I believe but I've never been. I think id take a panther or bear over wild hogs on my property if I had a choice. Its alot more difficult to fix field damage and the fields are depended on more than my pet chickens and various other animals. Lol on another note how did everyone manage in the storm yesterday? I had a few limbs come down and my power off for a few hours. A fightened dog and angry wet peafowl who refused to get out of the rain. The little wierdos have options lol I heard reports of a tornado in Springville but its not been confirmed. I've not heard the news for other areas yet today.

Jackson county was under tornado warning last night. We just got REALLY wet! Between Bedford Mitchell got hit pretty pretty hard. Speedway and all the local stores on that part of HWY 50 are still closed and out of power.

yea that's right in my neighborhood. The first round was horrible that's when I lost power. The second storm sounded worse and looked scary for a bit but didn't have as much wind. I've not been off the property today and didn't no speedway was still out of power. Ours was off for about 4 hours. They may use a different company?

My parents live about 5 miles down 50 and use Speedway as their morning stop. It was still a no go about 11 this morning. We're kind of neighbors...almost..haha!
