INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Brrrrr!! That just looks freezing, bet you get a lot of drifts. Any trees behind you to help break the winds?

nope not really have some trees in the front of the house and only one behind the house. They are really old tall maple trees. Where the coop is , there is no wind break.

Ohhh 4 more inches of snow last night. I really need to cover their run. Atleast it's barely freezing temp out. Cluckacres~ wish I had access to pallets as you do!

They are all over out there just have to look for them. Alot of places that use them will just give them away when they are done with them either because they get new in all the time or they are broken down some. Just have to ask around for them.

X2, meijer bakery has them. I bet walmart and a bunch of others, feed supply stores probably have a lot also.

Thanks, I will just have to start asking. Another problem would be transporting them. I'm sure the 4x4 pallets would fit in the back of my smaller suv, but I would have to size them up.
