Cluck acres- I'm enjoying your updates!! How cool!! And how did the one you assisted do?

Momma to silkies- is your little house outside? How are you heating it? With just the heat lamp? What breed are you trying? Oh and it looks insulated?

Well now that I have all these babies I need to plan my next step. If it continues to warm up I'll take my Millies out of the garage and make a coup/pen/brooder to move them out to. Of course they are only a week old so I have a bit to get ready. They certainly are fun to watch. They all seem to be pretty spastic, I've been slowly , carefully picking them up and petting them but they all still seem pretty scared. Suggestions?

It is outside it has a heat lamp and it is insulated. I just bought and cleaned it and redid the floor before I put my babies in it. They are ameraucana chicks.

Thanks. The one i assisted is alive and well. Running around playing soccer with the others.

I woke up this morning with 11 chicks. Several piped and trying to get out.

I will have a coop for them. I have to finish my new one im working on first. I will rotate the flock then.
