INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I have this posted in the classified section and had no inquiries...should I be selling him for less than $15 or giving him away? I've never sold any of my chickens so I'm at a loss to know what is expected..
He's about 16 weeks now but just soo pretty and a little guy.
He's a black silkie/BCM mix. The breeder I got my BCMs from also breed silkies and evidently her mother caring for them while on vaca incubated some silkie eggs that the BCM roo had gotten "into"...lol...this is the product.. She only incubated 2 and I took both of them in hopes at least one would be a hen for broodiness...but of course they are both roos! The other one is black and is sooo stinking lovable that I'm struggling with deciding to get rid of him or not...but I really don't want any roos but BCM so I don't have to deal with crosses to my BCM flock. Since finding this IN thread thought maybe I would toss these out here and see what you guys think and if anyone would give them good homes.

Where are you from?

Ellymay~ I love that gray one in the first pic. I don't have any small breeds, just buff orpingtons. I'm from just south of columbus, indiana. Do you think he would be ok if I got him some bantam chicks hoping for a couple hens?

I'm approx 30 miles south of Indy.
They both are growing out a pretty copper coloring in their saddles. The black one of the two when I hold him, he just stretches his neck out and lays it across the bend of my elbow, nestles his little chin in there and closes his eyes! I was going to try to keep him in with the silkies once they are a little bigger .. just haven't decided yet! Decisions, decisions! With them being so tiny though I don't think I'd have to worry too much about them "getting a leg up" on the BCMs!! But what if! Eeek..dunno!

Right now he's with all of my LF ... even the BCM roo...and they are all great together. My older girls too..BA, SF & EE.. He's a beautiful blue. I'll post a more recent pick of both of them in a bit. They are both great! I handle them both everyday multiple times a day...

Oh, he would fit in great then. I just love his color. My girls and roo come running when I call and don't mind being picked up. I am out there 5-6 times a day, more if its nice weather. They free range when I'm in the yard. Would he do ok with chicks do you think? I have 8 eggs in the incubator, Icould throw them together after they hatch.

Boy it's been busy on here!

greensburgs TSC did not get theirs in, they were supposed to on Monday. So any day now.

and back to the EE thing. Do the babies have colored legs as well? Some of the mixed Bantys I got in the first batch from RK have greenish legs.

sure is fun to see everyone else's excitement and experiences!!
