I bet it was in the thousands cluck! So many bins and tanks..... my kids wanted them all..... I wanted them all!

question of the evening.... how long does it take 6 BO to eat a plate of mashed potatoes? oh, and they didn't use the fork I offered.

If they are anything like my chickens less than a min. I dont give mine forks (they like to stab each other) Instead i give them spoons but takes them little longer to eat tho.

Crafty chick- oh man!!! They didn't have any bantams on Sunday! Darn. I ran in Gburgs RK tonight for horse food.... They are completely OUT of chicks. They have maybe 10 tubs and had cleaned them all and all the lights are off. TSC last night had half their lights on with no chicks, were supposed to have come Monday. You were brave. And I'm going to guess about 2 minutes.... On the potatoes!

Lol cluck! I should have taken a pic of all the bins... Iwould say about 20, 2 being large black 8 ft diameter tanks with 3 breeds in each

I didn't time them, but it was quick... they already went to bed so I held it up for them. I am too nice

Well the other 8 eggs in incubator didnt hatch and i candled them and not movement. So i took them out in garage cracked them open and each egg had a full grown chick in it but they was dead. Maybe from me opening the incubator to get some of the chicks out. They was so crowded and just kicking the eggs all over the place. Time to get the incubator cleaned out and load it back up with more eggs.

Guys I'm learning and have a dumb question. What is lock down when incubating eggs? I'm asking cause I will be setting up my bator tonight and adding 10 of my own silkie/ ameraucana eggs to it Friday. This is my first try at incubating and need as much help as possible.
