INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Well it's official.... I have lost my mind! I brought home more babies. TSC got theirs in yesterday in greensburg. Lots of varieties and mostly in pullets. So adding to my list is 6 new ameraucanas pullets. DH watched me carry them in and said in THAT voice "More??" These are fuzzier than my others were. I think I'd better be done! And the next nice day I better get to cleaning out the other area in the barn.

So I got the new designed little giant bator today to use as a hatcher. I must say, I already like it better than the old versions. The bottom tray is much deeper and overall height is taller as well. The thermostat doesn't seem to be as touchy as the old ones and was able to get it to correct temps in a couple hours. Now just letting it sit overnight to verify.

I bought one yesterday and have just added my eggs. It was at 99.5 for 24 hours before I added my eggs. This is my first time trying to hatch chicks, so I hope it goes well.
