Good luck! Are you using it as a still air incubator (no fan)? If so, you'll probably want the temp a little higher

How much higher does it need to be? It doesn't have a fan. I am just learning and this is my first time setting eggs.

Hi all! Well I did it! I finally got some chickens!

I got 3 bantams, 2 wyandottes,1 sex-link and 1 cornish rock and 2 blue swedish ducks

from tsc. Here are the pics, The are in this recycled pond tub for now. Will post vids later

great idea, love the lawn chair setup too! I may have to go get the kiddie wading pool out of storage! I am betting the turkeys coming in are going to need the room!

Ok, thank you. It is slowly coming back up to temp from being opened to add the eggs. I will bump it up a little when it hits the 99.5 mark.

There are only 13 eggs but so happy to be incubating my first batch of eggs. 4 silkie/ameracauna mixes and 9 silkies, a mixture of colors.

Ok, thank you. It is slowly coming back up to temp from being opened to add the eggs. I will bump it up a little when it hits the 99.5 mark.

the temp is actually 102. I have one of the older LG's still air and I keep it at 102 degrees. But dont let it go up to 103 for very long. LOL

Well I went out and bought supplies for my egg turner i am making and items for my new cabinet incubator.

I am keeping a close eye on it. It is beside my bed and I check it every few hours to make sure the temp its to high or low. I will be getting a new thermostat and hygrometer in a day or two. I have to find one in stock somewhere first. Once I do, what should I keep the humidity at and what do I bump it to for lock down?
