Off tthe idnr website: Landowners may take coyotes at any time on the land they own or provide written permission for others to take coyotes on their land at any time, without a permit.

Coyotes that are taken outside the hunting and trapping season by a landowner or someone with written permission from a landowner cannot be possessed live for more than 24 hours, and the live coyote cannot be sold, traded, bartered or gifted.

Oddly doesn't say whether the dead skins taken off season can be sold or not.

I also have a leg issue with one of the Marans. It seems to walk fine and doesn't seem in pain when I touch it. Any thoughts?

Haha, who gives a live coyote as a gift?

Hey, gotcha something, careful unwrapping it, it may be hungry...

I guess I could make a sweet rug, or blanket, would be cool on the basement/man cave wall. There's no way i'ma wait till october to remove these pests from this area...my son rides his go-kart out back, we have a gazillion blackberry plants so were out there picking them, and we're seeing them more and more during daylight. They gotta go.

Brad- chicks look gorgeous!!

we are seeing coyotes during the day too. We now "pack" if we go to the creek or woods. We took the dogs for a walk today since it was just perfect out. And did see some scat by the creek. It was either coyote or large dog. Had a lot of hair and misc in it , I'm thinking coyote!!

Ok, well having an issue posting pics, seems if I start a thread, nothing happens with the embedding part...so I figure i'd ask my fellow hoosiers.
This is Col. Sanders, my first chicken (was homeless and decided my work trailer looked like a good coop) I haven't gotten an egg yet, doesn't crow...yet, and has doubled in size since taking up residence here. I'm thinkin blue cochin? I've seen a few pics that resemble the Col. But it also looks like it could be a blue orpington too. The feet aren't as feathered as they should be for the cochin, only 3-4 feathers per foot. Any idea of breed and gender? (I'll find out gender eventually I guess...hehe)
