I couldn't agree more. I would rather consume an animal I cared for than one that had a commercial farm life. All my critters have a purpose as well. My husband slaughters most of our animals and I clean them up. I raise them, so it is hard for me to "pull the trigger" After the light is gone my brain can perceive them as just meat instead of the sweet baby I raised.

I got my six toed silkie form tsc, not sure that ranks quality... Cute all the same
