Well we got the coop moved to it's permanent location. Just need to build a run. The Alpacas don't seem to mind it. I think my husband did a pretty good job for his first coop.

Love the coop and LOVE the alpacas. Very nice job on the coop.

sorry animallover, hot 81 here, supposed to have severe storms in a few hours. My chickens have been hanging out under a huge pine tree in the shade. Super windy or I would have sat out there with the babies.... well, they are about 6 weeks... I have 19 to hatch hopefully tomorrow.

Pandora chick- oMG!!! What a horror story! I can't imagine going thru all that. My DH would've had a nervous break down with that much crap going on!!! I'm pretty good at ignoring neighbor stuff but he would've focused on it and never let go . And it's one of those deals where if you wanted to move to get away from it, no one after seeing all that would buy your house!! My DH has an ex wife like all that!!!

Hello!  My family got our first six chicks about a month ago and are getting ready to build our first coop.  In the meantime, our little chicks are living in a very large dog crate under the heat lamp in our basement.  We live in Greencastle.

Make sure you build big! Lol that chicken math you may have or will read about is a real thing! Hahaha Just ask any of us!!
