INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Why would you move to Indiana? I'd rather live in California or Portland. Have you seen the TV series "Portlandia"? It's great. Quote from Chick-n-farmer: I heard that someone dumped water in two stock tanks of chicks at the Terre Haute Rural King yesterday. I hope RK has it recorded on camera!!! That is so sick.
Haha I've lived in a lot of major cities and almost every state for at least a month. I don't like traffic, Codes, covenants or regulations. Indiana is just right

Nothing.g wrong with Indiana! I live in an itty bitty town south of Bloomington. Everyone here has chickens so mine are safe for sure! Trying to talk husband into a goat too...the current reason I'm trying is for 4-H boy to show at 4-h! Not flying so far though!

Where are you Em? I have a really pretty Pygmy pair that I might be wanting to part with. They are about 14 months old.

My chicks are no more than 5 weeks old and I can easily tell some of them are Roos. Here are some of the RIR I ordered from Meyers. All are supposed to be pullets, but a roo got thrown into the mix.

All of mine still have pale yellow combs. No red to be seen yet. Maybe in another few weeks.

Just south of Bedford. Husband says no right now :/
Always wanted farm animals and he thinks I'm getting too much at once.. dang the sensible man!

Well I am very close to Corydon, so not too far. If you ever get him to change his mind let me know. :D
I have a sensible husband too.

Very true! I did get a flat no on ducks though! Haha! We have 3 dogs, a cat, 12 chicks, and a rabbit that will be here on the 27th! And the best of all, 2 awesome kids!
