Beautiful birds! Congrats on the win too
So many of you post good pics of your chickens--mine never pose as I want them to.Anyhow, here are pics of my white polish hen (reserve continental at Bloomington Saturday--brag, brag
) and a WCB bantam pair. The WCB pullet was reserve AOCCL; meant a lot to me because I lost her mother, my favorite, about 2 weeks ago.![]()

Cluck, love that furniture! Vicki I really like the couch too, but man is that heavy looking!
^^^wow. I'm not sure paint can help that very much. However, we all know our bird brain chickens don't care, as long as they have shelter.Love the idea... the multi building with names is very quaint.
DH and I work in construction so I too had visions of some beautiful mansion. Not quite how it looked when it was done I can tell you. After counting the chickens yesterday I decided I am going to spend some time over the next few weeks building a couple of tractors to seperate some of my breeds. He is not allowed to have any input what so ever.
It is amazing what you can do with some trim wood and paint if it does not quite make the desired finish.
Glad your DH is being supportive though, that helps![]()
Edited to add this picture... I bet it looks alot better than this

I hope my DW doesn't see the pallet furniture! I'll have another project after the coop. Not sure about the indoor tree carving for furniture. Outside, yes.I am loving this, what a great use of pallets... Can always add the round wooden wire spools as side tables
Going to show DH this later.
He saw a picture of a sofa carved out of the side of a dead tree.. he is liking that too. I told him I was not helping him man handle that into the yard.
I can not find the picture, but this is close enough.

I would guess Cuckoo Maran or possibly Black Langshan. REALLY leaning toward Cuckoo Maran though. Totally just a guess.![]()
