INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Beautiful puppies! I LOVE dobies! I have always been a big dog person until I got my min pin. I love the less food and less vet expenses (flea and heart worm prevention, etc). However I have a feeling I will always have a large/giant breed. Irish wolfhound is next on my list for large breed.

My Frenchie is still young, but haven't ad any issues with him yet. He is a pretty laid back dog though. Puppy classes were almost a waste of money he was such a good puppy lol. I think I will always own a Frenchie, they are a hoot to have.
Our last dobie had some major anxiety issues since he was a rescue, but he stole my heart. He was my running buddy and I was his world. I was absolutely devastated when we lost him. Since we bought a new house out in the country DH promised me another one. Talia is a doll. Very much a puppy, but everything about that breed that won my heart.

I believe my friends issue with her Frenchie was due to that fact that sometimes they don't get on well with the English kids for some reason. She found her a new home with other dogs and they didn't have any problems with her. She just kept randomly attacking my friends English for no reason. It was all very strange. I've loved the ones I've been around though.

I adore wolfhounds, but I don't think I could handle their lifespans. They are one of the most beautiful breeds though, IMO.

HELP!!! I'm overran with chicks again. I'm back up to 70 chicks with more eggs hatching soon! Here is a list of chicks i have for sale. I can get pics for anyone as well. I have some that are a week plus old. I also still have the two russian orloff chicks that I don't plan to breed. They will go in the free ranging flock if no one is interested. Right now, they are 5-6 weeks old and still look like pullets. Make an offer on these 2!

If I lived closer, maybe. Still I would need more coop space first. We have started collecting pallets to make a pallet coop but that will take time since I have yet to even pick a location or floor plan.

I know what you mean! I just started making temporary pens in my coop for all the chicks. The oldest were moved out there today and I still have to finish the upper part for the other chicks in the garage. Once I clear out my garage, the chicks in the spare bedroom will move out to the garage. I really need to start working on the coops!

These are my babies (well, the four pawed variety

Lady is a new addition, an American Cocker Spaniel. She came to my rescue, but due to being blind/deaf/and having a seizure disorder, she will (most likely) live with me forever. She's so sweet though, I don't mind!

Winston is the baby of the family, he is only 10 months old (and about 6 months in this picture); he's a Standard Poodle. He is the funniest dog ever, but he has more than his share of mischief. Just today I had to chase him all the way to town, becaues he decided that he should chase a crow.

Scooby is my DH's dog, had him much longer than he's had me! He's a sweetheart (Bichon Friese (sp?) mixed with JRT) but he sure does love to chase small animals. He's going nuts with the chicks in the brooder. I am hoping that he will suprise me with them, as he suprised me with Dinah, our rescue cat. Someone dropped her off starving in the middle of the winter! I thought for sure Scooby would eat her, but he fell in love with her! He doesn't seem to realize she is a cat (neither does WInston!) and he will "play" with her and get her all riled up!

I know they're not chickies, but I just couldn't resist showing them off!

Thought I would post this link for you guys too. A BYC interactive member map! If you are interested we would love to see your dot added. A member named Ken started this map and it has been in use for a while in the Tx thread.

Very nice, thank you! I would love to do that for our Indiana members, doesn't look like we are on there yet!

LOVE all the awesome pet pictures!
