My family are major fans of pit bulls. They have a bad reputation due to humans abusing their love and devotion. Pits are actually nanny dogs. The breed is on of the best to have around children. Just don't expect a pit to be hit (with sticks, rocks, hands, etc.) and still be perfect with whoever did it. We had some kids in our old neighbor hood throw rocks at my dog every day for a week then freak out when he growled at them! I love my pits, who were all three abused in their lives. Thank Your for not letting others undeserved hate keep you from taking that beautiful dog.! End of my rant! Thanks!Does this actually work for you guys? Even with all the dogs I have marking (10 plus within the last 3 to 5 months) and 4 marking daily, I still have a roving pack of coyotes that like to come right up under my window and yip. In the summer we sleep with the windows open and they have woken me at least twice a month since April. I am assuming they are coyotes,as I have never in my life heard a dog yip, and because it happens in the very early morning. I thought I would share with you guys, I took a new dog into my rescue! It was against my better judgement as she is a pit/bulldog mix, but she really needed me. She has not been doing well with the other dogs, so she is currently living it up in the guest room. We've been switching the dogs out every 2 hours, so for two she's with us, two she's in her room with toys, etc. Maybe she'll scare off the coyotes?![]()
