I only had the one free ranging. I'm thinking he was an easy catch and possibly the person realized people were home and left in a hurry. I'm thinking whoever did it did not have enough nerves to enter the coops during the day. After all it is easy to say I was just looking if caught in the yard. What would one say if they were caught in a coop?

I think you mentioned it before, but I'm not even going to try to search for it -- what did you end up planting & where did you get the seed?Well, my fodder is growing! Lol. I thought I had killed it as it dries out while at work on the second say, but it's doing great! Just started another pan. The first own looked like I used too much seed, so i cut back on the second tray. See how it goes! If anyone is interested in trying, it is very easy to do. I just ordered the seed, purchased the black seed starting trays at big R for $1.50 a tray, poked holes on one side and placed soaked seed in tray. I have it setting on a tote to catch the water that drains out. I just spray it with water several times a day. I've rotated them so the other side is lifted as one side was growing a lot faster than the other.

We went to Tractor Supply and shelled out the bucks for 5 gallon heated water buckets for the alpacas/dogs and the ducks. DH will need to build a little platform for the ducks since the pail is a bit high for them. Hope the buckets work OK & then it's just the frozen rabbit water bowls and the chicken waterers to deal with. I did check for heated dog dishes, but of course those were all sold out (as were most of the other water heater gizmos). Our forecast just changed from a high of 0 on Monday to a high of -5
yeah my store does pretty good with marking things down. Definitely ask it they will go lower.
Speaking if cameras and security systems, might want to check with Lowes, my store is switching brands and clearancing out the old ones
