INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I'm going to be re-homing a bunch probably. I inherited a couple more horses and it is just too much for me right now without help :( I have pretty much reached my breaking point with this Apocalypse storm. I'll give them to good homes for free (don't want them slaughtered). Let me know if anyone is interested in:

4 EE hens that lay blue eggs
3 Barred Rocks
2 Red Sex Links
1 Welsummer
1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte pullet (she is stunning - out of Jerry Foley's stock)
2 Black Cochins LF (unsure of genders - thought they were a cockerel and pullet but not sure)
1 EE/Silkie Roo - he is small for a Roo, about the size of the hens and is very nice (not friendly but respectful)
I am sure you will easily find homes for all of them. Good Luck

We have at least 10 inches. It isn't letting up. And my mom told me about an hour ago, that she heard they now raised there estimate to us getting around 14 in. Wouldn't surprise me.

PW - how's it looking over your way? I'm much closer to the lake and this area usually gets more snow than y'all. Of course i'm in the blizzard warning area too. I think there has already been more than 2 ft. here.

and your blower is not working? We don't get a lot of deep snow here so no blower for us. Still today I was wanting a plow for the lawn mower. That would have saved some time.

No blower unfortunately. And when the drive gets plowed it's totally re covered within about 1/2 hour like it wasn't ever plowed.

Maybe this one will be like the 1978 blizzard after all. I was just a young wife then.

I was still a twinkle then as I was not born until a couple of winter seasons later. And good thing too as my mom would have hated being snowed in and having a baby. Little does she know what she missed. But to hear her tell she had it made and to not get meds is insane.

DH and I were both out shoveling while the children were playing in the snow for a while. We would no sooner get part of the drive done and our done section was coated again. Eventually we just worked on half and let the the other half be.

I definatley wasn't even thought about in 1978. My parents have mentioned it before, it was even brought up a few times today

We'll it hasn't hit here...YET. The temp is 40* outside. Most of the snow from last wk has melted today. The storm is supposed to hit late tonight. Now on another note... I found these tracks in my yard by the coop this evening. Anyone have any idea what they could be???? There's a pad and four toes with long claws. The picture doesn't do them justice. But posting picture anyway.
