Aw, pretty birds bradselig! Where did you get them?

I got them from a breeder in Portland Indiana. I'm working on getting another Birchen pair from him. They are great little birds!

Breeding and pets for sure! I'd like to get into showing with them. Just not a lot of time to do it when working retail! Lol

Ah lol, me too. I show my birds and I am also going to start breeding them. Just for fun, some for replenishing the pure breeds. Can't wait til spring!!

Couldn't help it, I saw pictures and I had to say that they are sooo stinkin' beautiful goatluver!
Lol, Is that a cat in that last picture? I'll have to post some pics of my flock, and my one chicken wanna be, Soda. She has found a way to get in between the door and roof of the coop and eats their food when I feed them. She also enjoys exploring their nest boxes.

all the stuff I have read about this never said should I do one chick a night or all 3 at once?

I'm thinking all in one night as I have read broodies somehow regulate the chick growth to get the eggs laid on different days to hatch within hours of each other.

The hatching incubator is in the master bathroom. I have claimed that room as my own space. A girl needs her space. DH and the children share the hall bath for now.

I haven't read that. makes sense, so all at once it is. She is so mean probably wouldn't get the chance to do it the 2nd night. the first is going to be bad enough. anyone got a dog bite suite??? You should have seen me bringing her in yesterday and putting eggs under her today. MY POOR HANDS and arms. I even got slapped in the face once when she managed to get a wing free!!!!! not going to say what I was calling her, this is a family site... lol
