INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

More pics! My newest babies, hatched this last week:
OEGB

BR X GLW both chicks.... (My hen, Mabel & roo, Red)

Note the white spot on the second chick.. Thats a boy!
These are my "sexlink" chicks. BR hen x GLW rooster.

My egg flock and scovies... Note the large barred rooster, thats what the little guy above will look like!
He has the GLW comb. Was hurrying in to warm up but wanted to get his picture.
Plan to get a better one once this awful cold is over!
Are your OEGB chicks going to turn out white? I never hatched any of them.
~Got a few pics while feeding and changing water today~
Please forgive all the poo..hard to clean up frozen

April (Chinese) left, young gander right.. Top right thinking goose.

Not sure on this one, may be a 3rd gander.

Pekins! behind them is a spring project, 1974 apache popup camper.
Soon to be a "tractor" Mobile coop! Note: fence damage from a branch, ugh.
Replacing that section. Have to restring the electric line across it too.

Group shot! Top is the Aluminum "Goose coop".
Pekins chowing on the fresh hay.
So cute!

Mother2hens - thanks for the advice. I really love to read and if I'm writing a research I love the studying part just not the thinking part

. I'm lazy when it comes to thinking but love working hard outside and with animals lol
goatluver ~ When you're out with your animals notice everything about them and the surrounding environment while thinking of how they affect your senses.* Besides looking at colors and shapes, what do you hear and smell? What might you taste or your animals taste? Notice various textures that surround you. What patterns do they make? How do they feel when you touch them? What do they remind you of? What do you imagine that your animals are thinking or talking about to each other?

Note to members: I'm not referring to "common sense."

Just throwing this out there again. I'm planing on heading to see Littleameraucanamom this Sunday to pick up chicks. I will be traveling 69 south from Warren to 70 west towards Greencastle. I will be stopping around pendleton as well as the east side of Indy (likely somewhere around 465 and 70). If you need something transported get on touch with me. I also have a couple silkie chicks left I could sell if anyone is wanting any. Depending on when they hatch and dry out, I may have some day olds I could bring as well. They are due to hatch tomorrow/Sunday.
