Nice birds. Those colors are gorgeous. Do they lay well? And what color? Sorry for so many questions but I'm liking the breed.

Yes they lay pretty regularly. 5-6 days a week. And they lay blue eggs! Add that to the auto sexing "feature" they are a great breed to have!

Does anybody know if you can test your own flock once you are a certified NPIP tester? I know some states won't let you test your own flock. I looked it up, but I can't find the anwser. I was just curious, as I was reading discussion the other day. How about a non-chicken owner family member getting certified and testing your flock for you? I may have to make a few calls and send a few emails

The EE girls are growing like crazy and learned to fly yesterday, so they have a net over the brooder now ,and the ducklings are having uneven growth spurts. Scrappy doubled in size this week!

Was listening to K105 and they just said 1-2 snow. WOWO says 4-8 snow and sleet. I guess we Will see who is right lol

i havent listened to those stations for a while, since moving from Waterloo, IN to Michigan (10 years ago). Maybe i can stream them

The hens are docile. I've had both bossy Roos and docile Roos. My first was bossy with other Roos but docile to me. My new roo needs to be reminded occasionally who is top cock!
