INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

The little black one looks a lot like the australorp I brought home today. Do you know about the silvery white one? I think I'm in love whatever it is!
The white one has champagne colored legs. Like pinky silver. I'm thinking bantam EEwith that muff. The little black one made me think australorp too, but it is a teeny bantam, like old english size. I have no idea what it could be. Mt. Healthy doesn't post the breeds of bantams they have.

Kab- my reply isn't working right but maybe you could call them and ask. Today PeacefulWalls kindly posted the hatchery for Rural King so I called them for suggestions when I brought home the babies and they did try to help. I'm still unclear but it was worth a try. I might email pics to see if they can tell me but it's fun to guess. I can't say it enough though- I love that chick. I'm sure I could slip it into my brooder no problem!

Oh and it was an exciting day today. I've had my first 6/6 egg day! I have 7 hens but I think one may not ever lay. She's about 10 months old and no eggs in sight, but she's sweet.

Congrats on the eggs! I may call the hatchery and ask. Here is the little white one again, she is the fluffiest chick I have ever seen, even over all of my silkies. I don't know what she is.

And just to show how tiny the little black one is....

Cccccccchickens- love the pics. The little d'uccle is beautiful!

Kabhyper- love the chicks! My TSC only had d'uccles and seabrights to choose from that I could see. Wish they had more of a variety, well maybe not lol.
