Was great meeting lonely and seeing everyone today! The work co-op is going well. If any one can do a little it adds up.
We all have that talent for a few things and love our birds. Why not have some fun and meet others that love them too!

Got home about noon or so, and had a full day of free range for everyone. Geese are gobbling the weeds as fast as they grow.
Had Sugar my goat doe out quite a while today. we got to snooze on the grass a while. She is just a sweetheart, love her so much.
She stays right with me every step, but I still leash her. once the yard is fenced and safe of the bushes and other plants of concern, she will free range too.

9 fuzz but's in the brooder!!! One chick was having a hard time getting out. I helped it out. It was really dry from being peeped and not getting out. It's a strong willed little chick. It's out and still moving around hopefully it pulls trough!! Happy Easter everyone!

Well my Easter sucks took a load of milk to goshen and they are 7 hours behind.

Hi Everyone!!!!

I just have to share that I incubated duck eggs for the first time and All of the 20 eggs I set hatched!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!! Here is a quick pic. I will post more later today.

On the topic of quareintene, the poultry vet I meet at Purdue said to quareintene for at least 6 weeks. I usually do for a month, but not I will extend it to a month and a half.

Its pretty amazing how the lil guys get the job "done"! My Buff partridge silkie roo is sure the big man, the EEs always run over there to see him dancing

He will figure it out! wyandottes are very prolific trust me! I have 3 hens and a roo, sold well over a hundred last season. Mine are the plain GLW and were very popular.

3 hens and a roo and uou sold over a hundred? ? Omg!! And I have blr...you think I could get 7.50 a chick straight run? Also gonna do sex links the pullets will still be blr but I should be able to tell the roos at hatch.

The blr were my plan to have my chickens pay for themselves so I hope I'm as lucky as you.
