INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Hello again everyone! I finally got the chance to come back to the forum. I don't know if anyone even remembers me but grad school and two jobs started to get in the way (pesky responsiblities) so I had to take a break.

Well, in that case!

Someone said something about not liking to cook custard. Do this instead! However, I can tell you 4 teaspoons isn't even close to enough vanilla. I'd start with four tablespoons (1/4 cup) and go from there.

While I'm rambling, does anyone else smile and shake their head at the comments and reviews on Allrecipies? It cracks me up when people say stuff like, "I loved this ice cream recipe, 5 stars! But instead of cream and sugar, I used beef, onion, garlic, peas, carrots, potatoes, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. We served it with rolls and everyone loved it!"

Just curious do you need an ice cream freezer or do you just use cold roast beef and such. Sounds just like what mom made.

I let the kids help lol. So the trim is covered with splotches of purple paint and Pete, who turns 5 tomorrow yay, decided to knock the 30 dollar gallon of paint over. So now I have expensive purple grass. Sigh.

Thanks. One part of the conversion down, 61 bajillion to go lol. I think tomorrow I'm gonna get the floor cleaned and nail the linoleum down.

I put mine down with a lot of 1/2 inch staples from a staple gun, then caulked the edges. I was fortunate that I coworker had just remodeled a kitchen, and had enough remnants to completely cover the floor of my coop.

I kind of want to come up with a cool name for my coop, but I haven't put in the effort to think of one.
