Here's some other helpful info: Chicken Health For Dummies Cheat Sheet - For Dummies
amwchicken~ As far as your roo's eyes, I read the following info on: Chickens with eye infections - ThePoultrySite Discussion Forum You can "unstick" the eyes by gently holding a hot, moist towel on the eyes (most birds usually enjoy the heat and will sit happily for you while you hot pack them). Then, flush the eyes with some warm saline or (even better) colloidal silver drops. Once the eyes are open, flush with some more saline/colloidal silver (most health food stores have this) or put some polysporin drops in the eyes. Some other excellent antibiotics for the eyes include: fucithalmic ointment (best), gentocin/garamycin (really good!) and chloramphenicol (great!).
I had 5 cockerels when I first started with chickens and they did lots of sparring/chest bumps, but that's all.
Did you use instagram or a filter on your photos? They're very vibrant.
