INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Thank you. I thought the quilt was a good symbol of all our wackadoos--that is, of all our esteemed diverse members here at Indiana BYC.

Very good idea! We are all a little wacky in our own weird ways. That's what makes it an interesting group.

Here is a picture where the main item, the track is at an angle. Maybe the chickens could do the same? I'm not good with graphic programs but I can sometimes find ideas on google.

As it happens, I have access to shutterstock and can work with this exact Indiana shape. Thank you for the suggestion! :)

Just for fun. Probably too girly for our male BYCers, and I'm sure M2H could do a better job with the execution, but here's my idea of an Indiana chicken shirt.

:)

(I'm watermarking it just to keep pirates from doing their own merch with it...learned that the hard way...but if anyone does want to use it for personal use or for the BYC shirt I'd happily remove the watermark.)

Love it for an Indiana BYCers group shirt! Then again I am partial to quilts. I also like the wood-cut look of the roo (and his well-placed red butt!).

Maybe it should be a crazy quilt in the background

@atrueb00, I think your design is darling. The only idea I have for including it with the shape of the state is to put the state as the background (possibly in bright red), then put your trio on a banner that is curving like a ribbon around the state, from the front.

That takes a lot more photoshop skills than I have, but I think it would be beautiful if you can pull it off.

@hoosiercheetah , I love the chicken with a gun. You should put that on your shirt, with some reference to the Heneteniary. (probably grossly misspelled that)
That is a good idea too, going to keep working at it and hopefully have something to post tomorrow. Thank you for the tip! :)

Thanks guys for the thoughts about Pearl. Its silly she was just a chicken, and I know people are going through much harder issues than the loss of a hen, so I really appreciate all of your comments.

Would anyone on here be interested in giving a little chocolate colored Chihuaha a forever home? His name is Winston. He is very sweet, but very timid. He is one of my best friends dogs and she has a baby boy. Winston is afraid of her son and nipped him. As long as I have known WInston he has never nipped, so it was just one of those things. He is a really sweet dog. I would say he is 5 or 6. He was a rescue that I think had been abused. he is very shy. We just want to make sure he goes to a nice permanent home. My friend is heartbroken over this. I told her I would ask you all. I couldnt find a really good picture but here a couple. He is the dark brown pup.

@Mother2Hens & @jchny2000 Hope you guys like this! Still working on some tweaks but this is what I have so far. I am catching up on posts, so not sure if anyone else has submitted ideas yet. I can change the wording to say 2nd annual or whatever you'd like. :)
or the whole picture in the shape of Indiana. This coming from a person who won't even take the time to submit a design. yours is way better than mine just as it is. Although I'm sure more than a few suggestions will be made. Too many cooks and all... Still having it in the shape of Indiana seems cool to me as does having a symmetrical circle top.
I was thinking the same thing. It is adorable:) dang I wish I could go!

atrub00 and Leslea ~ Nice job! I'm guessing that @lilmizscareall has too much going on to deal with the Tshirts. That's quite understandable with kids and owning your own business! Originally, Janet and I discussed having designs submitted to a T-shirt volunteer person who would post them without the artists' names so that the official Indiana BYC Tshirt can be voted on. All designs can used for printing on whatever style of shirt that each individual wants.

Ooops, sorry.

I was making a statement about the prevalent misconceptions about the sensibilities of men. Some of us like quilts.

For the record, I'm with you on the cigarette. I quit years ago and its the one area where I feel good about telling people what to do. Smoking is stupid and everyone should quit. There's your PSA for today.

Assault rifles are family friendly in my opinion. Ill leave it at that, pm me if you want the whole rant.
