INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I'm sorry... yes it is short for Livestock Guardian Dog. I have 2 Great Pyrenees.

This is Bear, he is the smallest of the 2.

This is Buddy, o and Isabella, ( goat ) he is the an xl dog and loves his job.

ok I need to stop now, after all this is a chicken thread... lol It's like pringles with me... I also have an Aussie ( the black dot ) that is awesome at herding and the Pittie tries to keep up... lol
Wow! Thanks for sharing the pics! I can't believe how large the dogs are, are they almost the size of St. Bernard or larger? Love that they hang with the goats. Glad to hear they are going okay after everything that just happened. Hope your leg is on the mend too. :)

If anyone is interested in guinea keets, my cousin is selling a lot right now. He's got pearl and multi color for $3/each. He lives near Terre Haute and you can arrange for pick up or delivery. If interested call or text (812) 243-6526. They are great for catching bugs and get along okay with LF and Bantam breeds (kind of a medium size when full grown).

Does anyone know if there is anyone in the southern part of the state ( I live near Bloomington) that can do npip testing to make sure a few of my birds are not carrying any diseases? I keep these 2 away from the rest of the flock, but would like to know how to get them tested? All their offspring have been dieing and I am trying to figure out why.

Also I was wondering if any of my BYC friends are going to be at the State Fair next week

We've got a Great Pyrenees too, Darwin. He's 140 pounds of adorable fluff. And we've got a boxer/mastiff mix (100 lbs, Ziva), a schnauzer (40 lbs, Bismark), and a yorkiepoo (10lbs, Abbie). Plus two cats (10lbs each, Mickey and Mercy), and a cockatiel (no idea what he weighs, Ralph). I'll post photos next time I'm on my laptop. It's amazing how animals can bring your mood up after a bad day.

I live in NorthWest Indiana, we can do a chicken train if needed. I will be down there Labor Day weekend and can bring some home if you want. PM me if interested. :)

@jchny2000 I'm praying for you and your father tonight as well as the rest of your family. I hope he improves.
I'm sure there are others on here as well thinking of you and your family.

Took the children out to see a 50 minute play of Mulan today. All of them were quiet and well behaved. I was very impressed. And my two oldest really seamed to enjoy it. Art on their level it was a great time.
