Nice thing about German numbers is that it's pretty easy to figure out most of them once you know 1-10. So, for example, two is zwei and four is vier, and all the 'tens' have -zig on the end (except thirty, for some reason, but that's beside the point), so forty-two is zweiundvierzig - literally 'two and forty'. And that just happens to be my chicken count.I will watch for you when I am down there. I can count to 40 in Spanish but that isn't enough to count all my chickens. I was going to take German, but it interfered with other classes to much
