She is so adorableThank you
They are 3/4 Nigerian Dwarf and 1/4 Pygmy![]()
The doe is half and half.
We got them for milk before we did a lot of research on breeds and we only got about 2 cups a day from the 3 does so we decided to go with lamancha for the milk. We have since sold all but four of our minis. Here is our Lamancha and her twins.
We have since sold the buckling but we decided to keep the doeling. She is very full of personality and it comes through in all her pics![]()

FYI and for no other reason I tell you this. Your LaMancha's are mix breeds, judging from the ears on mom and her color most likely Alpine, I myself love the milk of a Alpine/LaMancha cross. I used to have quite a few of them just for that. Yours have what people call Elf Ears, just what happens when you cross an LaMancha with another breed. No offence intended, just letting you know.
I do quite love them. Their feathers aren't as cleanly barred as Amy's, but they're so friendly and love their lap time. Although Freema can be a bit of a grumpy-grump when she doesn't get her allotted lap time.
Barred Rocks have great personalities!
My EEs (also big ones) tend to be more meek, at least as compared to the Barreds. Thing about Easter-eggers, though, is that they tend to be less pure in regards to their genetics, so I've noticed a wide variety of personalities overall. But my EE bantam cockerel was a spastic little fellow, too. Must be the lines--he was from Meyer's as well.
