We live in the southern part of Whitley County, near the Huntington County Line. I haven't heard anything, and so far all my chickens are doing fine. Pip'd lives in the northern part of Whitley, not sure where raisinemright lives.

Hi Christine~ Click on our Members' List at the end of this post to see if there is someone near you who has silkies. @racinchickins might know someone in your area.I am looking for some specific colors of silkies chicks: lavender, white, and blue cream partridge in Indiana close to Mooresville. Thanks!

M2H Thanks, when I get far behind on this thread, I seem to just ignore it and go to some less active favorites, I'm trying to get back on this one more often, and therefore not behind.

~ I started getting behind on the thread before Christmas and found that once I let too many days go by, it became less of a habit. I ended up "taking a leave of absence" haha for most of two months, but I really missed talking about chickens especially with such a great group as our Indiana thread.
