INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I thought that one on the right looked to be chocolate!
Yes. Brick makes sex-linked cuckoo orps. A lav orp female works like a black orp, so that's how I can tell the gender of those 2.

.....and I think most people here know the daddy: Brick.

I have decided to stick with my lav orps & also see how the laced orps turn out. Due to limited space, I'll need to rehome Brick. He's now a mature roo & perfect gentleman. I have many, many of Brick's offspring running around here right now. There's no way he could be dinner, so I'm letting people know that he's available. I'm not in a hurry, and he deserves a good home. He gets along with other roos. (Of course my other orps are huge, so he never dared to challenge them. He prefers to let them fight for the #1 spot while he spends his time with all the hens. LOL)

If anyone from Brick's "fan club" would like to bring him home, please let know. (Double Barred Choc Cuckoo Orp) I have decided to stick with my lav orps & also see how the laced orps turn out. Oh man! I wish I could have Brick, but I have way too many cockerels I'm trying to keep as it is. I've always admired him.

I tried calling the phone number, and never had a reply or even an answer to my calls. I guess they have rehomed him.
That's wonderful about getting those eggs, and that they hatched, coming all the way from California. I considered buying hatching eggs from Oregon, but then chickened out because they were pricey and would have been my first shipped eggs. I got some shipped from a closer state instead, and they were mostly all growing, but then my digital controller went haywire and I lost them all. Very glad it wasn't the pricey eggs!

Did that Facebook Muscovy ever pan out?

Is he a bantam??

You guys! Chicken math!!!!!
Currently have - 4 1/2 month old group, 1 isabel roo, 2 pullets, English Orpingtons. Also 1 white American Orpington.

2 month old group - 4 black mottled English Orpingtons, looks like 2 roos and 2 pullets. I tried to sell these, but hubby didn't let me...

Sold my triathlon bike and decided I should get an incubator! So, eggs I have on order...
9 "English Orpington Assortment" from my pet chicken

6+ bantam bbs Ameracauna from ebay

6+ bantam Golden Campine from ebay

Also ordered 6 bantam welsummer chicks from My Pet Chicken. Thinking about adding a couple "marans assortment" pullets if it doesn't change shipping too much.

I am also thinking about bidding on some RIR bantam and Barred Rock bantam eggs as well.

I am BANKING on a low hatch rate... otherwise I am going too be selling a lot of chicks. Lol.

With shipping eggs its always a gamble. But I do wish you the best of hatch! Where are you located? If your close I'd defiantly buy some chicks from you!

I'm in Southern Indiana, across from Louisville. But my sister lives in Carmel and I travel there regularly, so if you are close to 1 65 or in Indy, we could work out a delivery :)

And thanks for the luck!
