Unfortunately no, but she's starting to become friendly with the brahmas.
We got part of the run in yesterday and were able to let them out for a couple hours and that seemed to really perk her up too.

Here are my serama chicks. They just turned 3 weeks yesterday & POOF! Those little pink combs & wattles popped out. I swear they weren't there on Friday. I know it's early, but I'm pretty sure they're both male.

SIGH! I remember when OUR coop looked like that. Now, 6 years later, it is poop covered, scratched, worn, and has dust-covered spider webs hang from the ceiling.
It's got the 'lived-in' look!

Yes. The silkie was an accessory to DD's goth costume. That bird is very used to being dressed up. (I even took the silkie out for spin around the block to show her off to the neighbors.)

DS was simple. He went as PB&J. However many people only figured out his costume as he walked away & then saw his back (a jar of jelly).



Finally a little good news:
We are very likely adopting a dog this weekend. Everything's been approved & we liked the puppy when we met him at the foster home. (German Shepherd x plot hound mix - but his face looks sort of like a long eared lab) The adoption people do a home inspection when they drop the dog off. As long as we don't see a high prey drive when he meets the flock or other warning signs, he's ours. It's been a dozen years since we had a puppy in our home. I normally would prefer adopting a 6-10 month old (past the potty training & major chewing stage - but still a puppy) but this boy was very mellow for 4 months. His brother was bigger & more rambunctious. I liked the brother's size but not his curious nose. We just "clicked" with the smaller, prettier one. He wasn't jumping or slobbering. He was all wiggles & wags when we met & then just wanted to cuddle. He stayed by our side the whole visit while the other dogs came for some attention & ran off as they played. His calm disposition reminded me of our Shockley as a puppy. Shockley was born an old soul and was glued to the kids. Complete devotion from his 1st to his last day. We adore the big, lazy dogs. They estimated that our new pup will only grow to about 70-75lbs. We're used to Great Danes, so it might be nice to have a smaller dog who can't eat off the counter tops or knock over our guests. LOL
