INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Since we have coyote coming into our pastures I wanted something better for personal safety. With Moose our bull gone now I want to be able to protect my goats and calves next spring. Zero is a good bull, but so laid back I'm not sure how he will handle a predator yet.

You know, Ursa might be able to help with that, too. *wink*wink*

I wish but my new buck isn't dog friendly at all. I've had to stop letting Remi in the pasture. Cayenne goes after dogs. Here he was early last fall before I bought him:

If he wasn't horned i would be less concerned.

Cooper:
Husband ended up taking "Astro" from my sister and naming him Cooper. My sister couldn't handle the potty training and destruction. My husband fell in love with him. He now is a pampered pup that sleeps on our bed and cuddles with our toddler. Our son really brings out the happiness in Cooper. Cooper has come a long way since we took him in 2 weeks ago. He would coward in a corner and run from any moving object or noise. He now is becoming more adventurous and curious of his surroundings and feels safe. We our honored to have such a gentle dog. Our son thinks Cooper is his dog and tends to take Cooper to his room and plays fetch or tug of war.

Merry Christmas. Here are some holiday pics:

Nativity scenes are always more fun with live animals. Here are the kids playing with their "Little PEEP'LE"

Instead of a partridge or 3 French Hens, we had a Serama in a pine tree:

and here's DS with with the big Christmas gift. (DH is in IT, so he brought home & fixed up a new (to us) computer for the kids.)
